Responsibilities

  • Track all assets received into the Data Center, including receiving, reviewing, receipting, documenting, processing, preparing, identifying, separating, delivering, and transporting materials.
  • Deliver, pick up, and transport assets and materials within, between, to, and from various locations such as docks, offices, buildings, and sites.
  • Use a handheld scanner to control inbound and outbound accountable items.
  • Place purchase orders using Oracle or an equivalent purchasing program.
  • Analyze and review purchase order data using Oracle or an equivalent receiving program.
  • Receive items with purchase orders in Oracle or a receiving program, ensuring they are error- and defect-free.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and other departments/vendors to receive desktop and server equipment, including computer hardware, servers, peripherals, software, and printers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into internal databases.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management and IT for the disposal and recycling of retired desktop computer equipment.
  • Prepare materials for processing, shipment, and/or transportation.
  • Enter activity data in logs and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform monthly inventory on all consumables.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Handle work order service requests and format them appropriately.
  • Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using a computer or service provider's equipment.
  • Communicate with customers regarding item arrival timelines.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of warehouse, shipping, and receiving-related experience.
  • Experience with inventory control in a warehouse/data center environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with IT environment terminology (e.g., HP and Dell hardware, patch cords, power cords).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual or within a team environment.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Skilled at operating mobile equipment such as pallet jacks and server lifts.
