Shipping & Receiving Associate (First Shift)

About the role

The Shipping and Receiving Operator verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment or internal processing, adhering to quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of various parts or components.
• Receive incoming goods, confirm accuracy, and route appropriately to the shop floor.
• Ensure all quality control documents are complete and included in outgoing shipments.
• Verify materials shipped and received against pertinent documentation.
• Process expedited deliveries in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices.
• Safely operate equipment, including forklift and other required equipment.
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap, and Quality Management Systems.
• Forklift truck operation experience preferred; factory‑related experience preferred.
• Willingness to train if necessary.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb all day, and frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.
• Compliance with ITAR regulations: position may require export licensing approval; applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee).

Pay

Hourly range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: Monday – Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
