Shipping/Receiving Associate 2

Position Responsibilities

• Review, verify and sign in/out all deliveries.
• Track shipments as needed.
• Answer basic routine questions following pre-established guidelines and perform routine research.
• Elevate complex issues to leadership.
• Perform data entry and maintain documentation of receipts and shipping documents.
• File and maintain paperwork associated with shipment/deliveries.
• Aid Accounts Payable with problem solving when needed.
• Lift and move heavy items/packages as required.
• Interact directly with other departments with problem solving.
• Reconcile transactions based on direction from other departments.
• Train new employees to align with level 1 requirements.

Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
• Excellent math skills
• Strong level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision
• Ability to interact with other key departments with minimal supervision (Accounts Payable, Finance, Inventory Control)

Requirements

• 3 + years of similar experience, preferably in a high volume environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
