About the role

We are seeking a Shipping Manager to join our Appleton, WI warehouse team. This role supervises a team of 9+ warehouse associates working a 1st shift schedule beginning at 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading trucks for 1st and 2nd runs, potentially in temperamental weather conditions.
• Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly.
• Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all associates.
• Supervise, coordinate, and participate in unloading and stocking inbound shipments, as well as picking and shipping outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork.
• Maintain security of the warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment; report accidents and convey issues to branch management.
• Assist warehouse associates with the picking process.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Requirements

• A strong background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory.
• 2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Highjump, or Dispatch Track software (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Applications.
• Strong attention to detail, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload to balance multiple demands and meet timelines.
• Phenomenal communication skills and a desire to manage a team.

Pay

Estimated pay range: $4,124.70 – $9,075.00 monthly for salaried roles or hourly for non-salaried roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Starting wage may vary based on location or state wage requirements.
