- Conduct daily Gemba walks to ensure strict adherence to safe operating procedures, particularly regarding material handling equipment.
- Review safety incident trends and actively engage with the Safety Committee to mitigate risks on the outbound dock and pick modules.
- Quality & Operational Excellence
- Drive the Quality Performance Engagement Program to ensure dense, stable, and accurate pallet builds.
- Manage operations utilizing SAP and advanced wearable scanning technology, ensuring strict adherence to “Ship Complete” order logic.
- Utilize DMAIC problem-solving, A3 project reporting, and the campus Obeya room for visual management and daily performance tracking.

- Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including Cases Per Hour (CPH) and On-Time Dispatch.
- Manage labor planning to meet daily volume requirements while strictly controlling post-peak overtime and adhering to applicable workforce scheduling practices, company policies, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate daily with the adjacent building’s Outbound Manager to balance labor, share equipment, and optimize yard/dock door availability without relying on contingency labor.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors, leads, and hourly employees to achieve operational, safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
- Execute daily startup meetings and structure 1:1 check-in to drive engagement across the floor.
- Support a 12-month leadership development curriculum, developing frontline leaders within the Organizational Optimization Program.
- Support workforce planning initiatives, including shift assignments and scheduling processes, in accordance with business needs, company policies, and applicable laws.
