Shipping Lead PR06 (1st Shift)-Berry St Plant

Open to team members currently working at this facility. Team members from other Tyson facilities should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Pay

$18.05 per hour

Schedule

1st shift. Work most weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department operations and ensuring team members understand and follow instructions.
• Monitor equipment performance and notify the Supervisor of any maintenance needs.
• Support a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with Tyson policies and procedures.
• Assist with production line setup and perform daily equipment inspections to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor production activities, provide on-the-job training, and support team members as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure necessary materials are available on the production floor.
• Assist with attendance tracking and training of new hires or team members requiring retraining.
• Support washdown and sanitation activities to ensure all areas are properly cleaned.
• Serve as a liaison between the Supervisor and team members, communicating expectations and reporting quality concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, excluding employee disciplinary actions.

Requirements

• 3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be a combination of employers as long as experience totals 3 months within 2 years).
• 180-day (6-month) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
