Shipping Lead-1st Shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate daily activities of shipping team members to achieve shipping goals while implementing process improvement initiative.
- Complete and maintain accurate shipping records, including packing lists, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
- Provide aid in transporting customer products by utilizing correct lifting methods to prevent injuries.
- Operate pallet jack and cranes safely and efficiently to move and load shipments.
- Identify and drive trucks, then maneuver them into designated dock locations to enable team members to begin loading.
- Assist at the end of the department line to gather fully stocked racks and deliver them to the designated shipping dock locations as instructed.
- Help to organize inventory within the shipping area, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
