Shipping Lead 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to employees in the shipping department
• Ongoing communication with department management and employees to ensure shipping needs are met
• Check shipping area and equipment for issues or damage
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are documented and properly followed
• Ensure employees wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Forklift experience with both sitting and standing forklifts
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work assigned hours, including weekends, and availability to work a flexible schedule when needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong computer skills, Windows PC, MS Excel, MS Office Suite and other related applications
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good math skills
• Good people skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
