Warehouse Shipping Lead - 1st Shift
About the role
The Shipping Lead is responsible for real-time analysis, coordination, and balance of Shipping Operations including allocation of picking/loading tasks. Other responsibilities include recording and reporting of outbound deliveries, providing support in reporting, researching, and resolving issues, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time, providing administrative support for the Shipping Managers, developing and maintaining a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems, supporting Picking and Loading operations as needed, and under direct supervision of the DC Shipping Managers.
Responsibilities
- Recording and reporting of outbound deliveries.
- Supports reporting, researching, and resolving issues related to the interface between host system and WMS.
- Ensures all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Provides administrative support for the Shipping Managers.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems.
- Supports Picking and Loading operations as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
- Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP, and Red Prairie.
- Detailed and accurate.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
- Able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.
- Able to move throughout all areas of the distribution center, move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations, stand and walk continuously to perform job functions, standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product 90%, sitting 5%, desk or phone work 5%.

Pay
Starting hourly pay at $21.00 - $24.00/hour (Based on experience).
