Shipping Helper

About the role

The Shipping Helper position at Cardinal Staffing requires a dependable and motivated individual to prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Verify products, quantities, and shipping information before shipment.
• Operate shipping software and computer systems to process orders and print labels.
• Load and unload shipments as needed.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
• Organize inventory and keep the shipping area clean and orderly.
• Work closely with production and warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Forklift is a plus or willing to train.
