Starting rate of pay: $23.03
Shifts Available and Hours: 1st Shift Monday - Friday - 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
What you will be doing
- Participate in material distribution/relocation using mobile equipment (forklifts, Combi lift, and overhead cranes)
- Load outbound loads following safety requirements to ensure product delivery in good condition
- Operate equipment in compliance with safety guidelines and inspect mobile equipment and cranes for safe operation
- Inspect loads for quality, correct packaging, and identification tags
- Observe safety rules and maintain a clean work area
- Perform minor maintenance on forklift, brakes, horn, fluid levels, and overall condition
- Unload incoming goods and materials (scrap, log, extrusions, and supplies)
- Dump scrap trailers and hoppers
What will make you successful?
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified forklift operator or completed company's forklift training preferred
- A good driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience a plus
- Preferably a CDL license or experience driving semi-trucks and/or loading semi-trucks
