Shipping Handler
About the role
Do you enjoy hands-on warehouse work and being part of a team that keeps operations moving? Are you dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented?
Responsibilities
- Support shipping and material handling operations by preparing customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and ensuring shipments are accurate and delivered on time.
- Load and unload trucks and stage materials
- Pick, pack, and crate frames and other products for shipment
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Perform quality checks and maintain accurate shipping documentation
- Organize outbound deliveries using UPS, LTL, TL, and service center trucks
- Use computers and systems to support shipping processes
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work overtime as needed to meet business demands
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Ability to lift 5–50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
