About the role
This is a 2nd shift position operating powered stand-up equipment (e.g., forklifts). The role involves completing daily safety and preventive maintenance checklists, logging on/off the Warehouse Management System (WMS) via a truck-mounted radio frequency (RF) terminal, and moving pallets of cases to designated locations as directed by the RF terminal. The position requires full cross-training and accountability across all warehouse functions in specified areas.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily safety and preventive maintenance checklists for assigned forklift equipment.
- Log on/off the Warehouse Management System at truck-mounted RF terminal.
- Pick up pallets of cases and move to appropriate locations, including:
- Completed pallet staging at sortation
- Pallet conveyor induction stations
- VNA rack pick-up and delivery stations
- Shipping Prep area
- Service Promo/Repurpose Area
- Case AS/RS induction platform
- Scan barcodes on pallets and locations using a truck-mounted scanner to confirm moves within the WMS.
- Perform order fulfillment work across any warehouse job function, including:
- Move cases from VNA to Label Prep and Pasa-Flo
- Move cases from Repurpose to dock locations
- Load Promo product for outside contractors
- Move palletized cases with powered forklift
- Locate and retrieve shipping cases from sorter
- Perform administrative work for warehouse management system and productivity tracking, including:
- Scanning cases and pallet labels to assign cases to pallets within the WMS
- Operating lift equipment
- Physically lifting individual cases/cartons to place on pallets
- Hand-wrapping pallets when needed
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
- Ability to operate powered stand-up forklift equipment.
- Physical ability to lift individual cases/cartons to build pallets.
