Essential Functions
- Obtain copy of load sheets or shipping order and transport pallets to and from designated areas in the facility
- Operate a forklift to load/unload Freight safely and effectively
- Stacking goods in the correct storage area
- Checking to make sure loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checklist
- Ensuring orders are correct product and count
- Ensuring each pallet is secure for transit and labelled correctly
- Consolidating rows and pallets for staging and shipping
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands
- Stand
- Walk
- Lift, carry, reach, push, pull
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
Qualification Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Good communication
- Able to safely operate equipment in unique situations
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1-year experience as an equipment operator
