Shipping Coordinator - Jenbacher Engines

About the role

The Shipping Coordinator at INNIO is responsible for managing the transportation of gas engines and related project shipments to customers and external warehouse locations. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient shipment execution.

Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee domestic and international shipments of gas engines and related equipment to customer sites
• Plan, schedule, and monitor deliveries for customer projects to external warehouses and storage locations
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and transportation documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and internal company policies
• Act as a primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, external service providers, carriers, and freight forwarders
• Track shipment status and help resolve transportation issues to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
• Support process improvement, digitalization, and reporting initiatives within the logistics and shipping function

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Additional education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in shipping, transportation, or logistics coordination
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
• A customer-focused team player with the ability to work effectively across functions and with international stakeholders is required
• The ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and business processes is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or transportation management systems is preferred
