Shipping Coordinator

This role is a Contract to Hire position based in Georgetown, KY.

The Production Control / Shipping Coordinator plays a crucial role in coordinating outbound shipments, inventory transfers, and production scheduling activities to ensure timely delivery to customers. Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments and internal material transfers.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation and schedules.
• Monitor production plans to support on-time customer deliveries.
• Communicate shipment status and inventory availability to internal stakeholders.
• Track shipments and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping, scheduling, and logistics issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks related to production control and shipping operations.
• Communicate schedule or priority changes to cross-functional teams.
• Provide occasional after-hours support for urgent operational needs.

Requirements

• Diploma, Associate degree, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
