Shipping Coordinator
About the role
As a 2nd-shift Shipping Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers on time and in excellent condition. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help drive seamless operations and support the dependable delivery experience our customers rely on. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with logistics partners and internal teams, manage essential documentation, and help maintain the high standards that define Danfoss. You'll work in a fast-moving environment where each shipment you prepare supports our mission toward a sustainable future.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accurate shipping documentation and enter shipment data into SAP.
- Ensure parts are correctly packaged and staged for domestic and export shipments.
- Pick and assemble items for shipment using pick lists and material-handling equipment.
- Log and track shipments to support timely freight bill processing and payment.
- File freight claims and assist with shipment tracers or other general shipping tasks as needed.
- Receive cross-training from the Material Control team to support overall operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role.
- A one-year technical/college certificate or one year of related work experience.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred).
- Ability to process and interpret export documentation.
- Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work well in a team environment, and handle physical material-handling duties.
- Attention to detail when gathering, organizing, and reviewing shipment data.
- Comfortable working second shift hours.

Pay
The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $19.00 plus bonus and benefits. There is a shift differential of +$1 per hour for 2nd shift. Ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location and additional factors, including role-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
