Shipping Clerk - Dock

About the role

Responsible for the timely, accurate picking and shipping for all customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Utilize R/F scanners for picking and posting orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Meet productivity goals/measurements set forth by Logistics Manager
• Accountable for maintaining inventory integrity
• E-Commerce verification and packaging to ship direct to customers
• Create shipping labels and packing orders to ship via FedEx, UPS, and Brinks
• Accountable for reporting overages/shortages and picking inaccuracies to management
• Assist management with departmental projects and responsibilities
• Stock packaging materials at all verification stations
• Assist in other areas such as receiving and tagging merchandise per management’s direction
• Receive and dispatch deliveries
• Deliver received packages to proper departments

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Able to Multi-task
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment
• Must be willing to work overtime when required
• Capable of lifting, pulling, pushing up to 40 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge
• Stand-up forklift certification and experience a plus

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $19hr. Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
