Shipping Clerk - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Maintain accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare items for shipment.

Check and compare item details (counts, weights, measurements) for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Verify shipment information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records, and track date of delivery and all other pertinent information involved.

Track delivery dates and related shipment details.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clean and valid driver’s license preferred with reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to read, speak and understand both verbal and written instructions in the English language.
• Shipping experience with UPS World Ship and/or Fed Ex Manager is preferred.
• Preferred experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or the willingness to learn.
• Organized self-starter with the ability to multitask.
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Able to follow established product handling procedures while complying with safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) guidelines.
• Able to coordinate with the Sales team to maintain on-schedule daily shipments.
• Professional communication skills for phone and email interactions.
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, hear and talk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to stand in one area for long periods of time, with minimal breaks. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and carry heavy objects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risk, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
