Shipping and Receiving Associate
About the role
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk reports to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership. This position requires 3 years of experience working in a mail facility or similar background, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer skills including proficiency with scheduling or calendar software, logistics tracking software, database software, and communication tools.
Responsibilities
- Support routes, receiving, mail services, shipping, floaters, freight coordination & logistics, loading dock operations, and customer service/help desk.
- Perform material handling tasks, including using motorized and manual equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Work in various weather conditions and be cross-trained to support all tasks required for the site.
- Troubleshoot issues related to tracking software, secure lockers, and other tools & technology used by the SRM team.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and respond promptly to emails, texts, and phone calls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support waste, secure waste, and eWaste programs.
Requirements
- At least 25 years of age to comply with fleet insurance requirements.
- Experience working in a warehouse or loading dock environment.
- Flexible to support the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with scheduling or calendar software, logistics tracking software, database software, and communication tools.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull to move equipment, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and reach above shoulders.

- Proficiency with scheduling or calendar software.
- Logistics tracking software (experience with BearTracks is a plus).
- Database software.
- Numbers or Excel.
- Pages or Word.
