Shipper and Receiver

About the role

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply (roofing, siding, metal, and building envelope), is seeking enthusiastic, driven outside-the-box thinkers to join our team of over 50 locations across Canada. As a Shipper and Receiver, you will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, movement, shipping, and receiving of products while ensuring order accuracy through correct picking, tagging, and verification. You will maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and support additional operational tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, ship, and receive product
• Ensure orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double-checked
• Assist with tapered insulation fabrication as required
• Assist with metal shop operations as required
• Comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Valid forklift license (training can be provided)
• Ability to lift, push, and carry 80–100 lbs
• Previous shipping and receiving experience
• Customer service skills
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience (preferred)
• Authorized to work in Canada
