About the role

The role of Shipboard Educator (Seasonal) involves providing educational programs and activities to enhance maritime safety awareness among crew members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver educational programs focusing on maritime safety, emergency response, and crew health and wellness.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of educational initiatives into daily operations.
• Assess crew member understanding through quizzes and feedback sessions.
• Document all educational activities and outcomes for reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in education or maritime training.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
