About the role
The role of Shipboard Educator (Seasonal) involves providing educational programs and activities to enhance maritime safety awareness among crew members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational programs focusing on maritime safety, emergency response, and crew health and wellness.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of educational initiatives into daily operations.
- Assess crew member understanding through quizzes and feedback sessions.
- Document all educational activities and outcomes for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in education or maritime training.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with educational technology tools.
Skills
