Shift Security Supervisor - Bethesda, MD

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight of officers and shifts
• Demonstrates the capacity to effectively manage a security guard services contract
• Perform regular post inspection
• Adequately prepares written inspection and quality control reports
• Daily management of readiness capabilities of Armed and Un-Armed Security personnel in their duties of protection of client property, facility, personnel, and revenue throughout the Metropolitan Area
• Ensure all officers credentials are maintained in accordance with contract requirements
• Assist Project Manager in implementing new and revised systems, process development and operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience supervising and leading unarmed/armed security personnel
• Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard license.
• Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a customer service driven mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers

Reports to the Project Manager. Number of openings: 1.

Skills

• Equipment and Software proficiency: fax/copier/printer, Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel and Word)

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma/GED; At least 2 Years of College Associates Degree

Certifications: MD Security Guard Certification; Unarmed CPR/First Aid

Schedule

Part-Time position; Weekends.
