About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, overseeing safety and security, and training the team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor each shift to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness
- Maintain inventory levels and manage daily maintenance
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and targets
- Manage crew and handle scheduling
- Handle food safety and exceptional customer service
- Support the department in meeting its goals
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Must be 18 years or older
