About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain performance during the shift
• Ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meet targets during their shifts
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• May be responsible for food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, cleanliness, managing crew quality, food production, exceptional customer service, safety, and security
• Manage scheduling and training

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent customer service are required. Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
