About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, and ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain performance during the shift
• Ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meet targets during shifts
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• May be responsible for food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Manage crew quality, food production, and exceptional customer service
• Manage scheduling, training, and additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate effectively and manage a team.

Qualifications

Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
