About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every time. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, ensure quality, service, and cleanliness, manage inventory, and handle various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness.
• Maintain food safety standards and communicate effectively with the next shift manager.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Train and supervise the team to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate with the next shift manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet and exceed departmental targets.
• Handle scheduling and staffing needs.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and service standards.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
