About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Assist in managing the restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and coaching
• Oversee the preparation and service of food and beverages to guests
• Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions and manage the restaurant’s financial operations
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve issues and improve service
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance restaurant performance

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced service environment is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
