About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Supervise restaurant employees
• Assist in managing the restaurant to meet operational goals
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Oversee the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Train and develop employees to improve their skills and performance
• Conduct daily operations meetings to discuss shifts and plan for the day ahead

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee
• High school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
