About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Act as the "Every Shift" Leader, managing the restaurant staff effectively
• Supervise the restaurant employees to ensure they provide excellent service and adhere to company policies
• Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing development opportunities
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Conduct daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
• Support the Assistant Manager or General Manager in planning and executing special events and promotions

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food service operations and safety standards
