About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning
• Ensure that all guests receive excellent service and are satisfied with their dining experience
• Supervise and train restaurant employees to ensure they meet the company’s standards for quality and customer service
• Oversee the inventory management process to ensure adequate supplies are available for guests
• Handle cash transactions and manage the restaurant’s finances according to company policies
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and provide feedback
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license
