About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Assist in managing the restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth transitions between shifts
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Supervise the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new ideas to improve restaurant operations

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
