About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
  • Monitor safety and security measures.
  • Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager.
  • Meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Support and guide the team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
  • Train new employees and assist in their development.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications
