About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage daily maintenance and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and food production standards.
• Communicate effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager.
• Manage crew and handle scheduling.
• Train new employees and assist in achieving departmental goals.
• Meet and exceed shift targets.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for working in the McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions.
