About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members meet McDonald’s standards.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet and exceed shift targets.
• Help departments achieve their goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Oversee food safety and internal communication.
• Manage crew and handle scheduling.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic workplace.
• Must be 18 years or older to manage in a McDonald’s restaurant.

Qualifications

While previous leadership experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction.
