About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for a variety of tasks including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing shifts to ensure high-quality service
• Maintaining cleanliness and quality of food production
• Ensuring adherence to McDonald’s standards for service, quality, and cleanliness
• Communicating effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager
• Monitoring and addressing safety and security concerns
• Managing inventory and daily maintenance
• Assisting in meeting departmental goals and targets

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job
• Age 18 or older

Skills

Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Knowledge of McDonald’s standards and procedures is required.
