About the role

Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Leading shifts to deliver a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meeting targets and helping departments achieve their goals
• Ensuring food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Managing the crew and addressing any issues that arise
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining safety and security
• Scheduling staff and managing their availability
• Training new and existing employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Must be 18 years or older
