About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, cleanliness, and adherence to McDonald’s standards. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks including planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Leading shifts to deliver a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Ensuring safety, security, and profitability during the shift
• Meeting and helping departments meet their targets
• Managing crew and handling inventory
• Ensuring exceptional customer service
• Performing daily maintenance and cleanliness tasks
• Managing food safety and production
• Providing training to the team

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with a schedule
• Being 18 years or older to qualify as a manager in corporate-owned restaurants

Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong understanding of McDonald’s standards and procedures, as well as the ability to manage a team effectively. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Shifts vary based on the needs of the restaurant and the individual's availability. Applicants should be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
