Shift Leader II - 3rd Shift (Dalton, Georgia, United States, 30720)

Responsibilities

• Provides work guidance to junior team members.
• Makes sure the right materials are used to make each product.
• Operates equipment and reports on quality, output, and inventory.
• Monitors machines for problems and gets help from management if needed.
• Serves as evening and weekend facilitator for Plant Emergency Response Team.
• Attends any job-related training as needed.
• Follows all standard operating procedures.
• Does general cleaning as needed.
• Does other tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• One year of related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and lead others.
• Good communication skills are needed to talk to people in the same unit and other support roles.
• Can read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Can do basic math like adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
