Responsibilities

  • Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
  • Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
  • Maintain and clean shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
  • Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
  • Assist in supervising crews and setting priorities for involved projects.
  • Handle other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for airline travel is ideal, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attend work regularly and notify supervisor in advance of shifts.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • Comply with FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
  • Work in a customer-oriented manner.

Qualifications

  • Basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
  • Strong fastening systems, procedures, and techniques.
  • Basic computer skills for navigating electronic resources.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $22-$38, with additional shift differentials available.

Schedule

Flexible work schedules including 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12.
