Responsibilities

  • Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
  • Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
  • Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required.
  • Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
  • Assist in organizing manpower and setting priorities for involved projects.
  • Supervise other technicians in some capacity.

Requirements

  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and Powerplant License is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
  • Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to work each day.
  • Work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
  • Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
  • Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

Qualifications

  • Basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures.
  • Ability to read blueprints, working from drawings, fastening systems, procedures, and techniques.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Effective communication skills (speaking, writing, reading).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $22-$38. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential may be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift.

Schedule

Weekly competitive and industry-leading pay means you are paid more often. Flexible work schedules include 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12.
