Sheet Metal Helper - Commercial Construction

About the role

Responsible for assisting in the installation and fabrication of sheet metal components in commercial construction projects. Duties include handling materials, operating machinery, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and installation of sheet metal structures
• Operate various sheet metal fabrication equipment safely
• Handle and transport materials as directed
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience in sheet metal fabrication or construction
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Skills

• Proficiency with basic hand tools
