Sheet Metal Foreman

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time position located in the Asheville, NC area. We seek a local candidate with experience in sheet metal installation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead construction projects
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Assign tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Order materials and properly layout and install ductwork
• Provide on-the-job training for team members
• Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and job documentation
• Ensure safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work in various weather conditions and job settings
• Problem-solve and make decisions that impact the project
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements

• 4+ years of sheet metal installation experience
• Prior experience leading a team
• Track record of completing projects on schedule
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC/duct codes and best practices

Qualifications

Local preference. No traveling tradespeople needed. Military veterans encouraged to apply.

Your starting pay is dependent upon experience. Annual pay reviews are available.
