Shaw Retail Territory Manager - Lexington, KY

About the Role

The Shaw Retail Territory Manager in Lexington, KY, is responsible for maintaining and increasing Shaw’s profitability and market share in their geographical area. This is achieved through building strong customer relationships, implementing market programs, and promoting Shaw’s expansive portfolio of brands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sales calls on existing customers, focusing on hard and soft surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesives, and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users, and analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts and stay informed about market trends within the designated territory.
• Prepare sales reports, including sales volume, potential sales, market conditions, and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics and assist dealers in promoting sales.
• Manage travel, entertainment, and sample budgets to meet financial requirements.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote and educate customers on residential products, including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philadelphia Commercial.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Ability to interact with diverse customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Proficiency in using a laptop, Microsoft Windows, and MS Office.
• Physical ability to assemble and disassemble display fixtures.
• Must own or operate an approved vehicle (SUV or van) to carry product sample boards.
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs regularly.
• Must reside within the territory (Lexington, KY).
