About the role

The Salisbury VA Health Care System's Emergency Medicine Division seeks a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join a compassionate, innovative, and professional team committed to excellence in veteran care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical assessments, diagnostics, and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Perform evaluations, interpret tests, and make critical treatment decisions aligned with VA best practices
• Lead process improvements to enhance patient outcomes and hospital standards
• Mentor and teach students and residents, shaping future clinicians
• Engage in ongoing professional development with strong academic affiliations

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
• Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Preferred: Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine with ED experience

• Competitive Salary: $225,000-330,000 Plus performance bonuses and regular raises
