Emergency Medicine
Role and Facility Information
The Peace Arch Hospital Emergency Department is seeking part-time and full-time Emergency Physicians to join their collegial and well-supported team. They maintain great relationships with all specialty and hospitalist groups within the hospital, creating a positive working environment. The emergency department sees over 55,000 visits annually and is projected to reach 70,000 by 2030 due to rapid population growth in the White Rock/South Surrey area. Access to a full range of diagnostic services, including 24/7 CT, Ultrasound, and MRI, and excellent local and regional subspecialty support are available.
Remuneration is fee for service, which is excellent given the great patient flow. Candidates must be certified in Emergency Medicine with either the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). The successful applicant must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
