About the role
Montefiore Medical Center – Department of Emergency Medicine seeks Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dynamic and growing faculty. We offer distinct tracks for academic, community, and hybrid emergency medicine positions across our Moses, Weiler, and Wakefield campuses in the Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities
- Serve at a regional hub for Comprehensive Stroke, Cardiac Catheterization, Limb Reimplantation, and Pediatric Emergency Services (CHAM)
- Participate in funded research, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, and a long track record of NIH-funded faculty and alumni
- Educate residents and students in one of the nation’s oldest Emergency Medicine Residency Programs, recognized for its clinical training excellence, a unique public-private partnership, and largest alumni network in EM
- Lead or engage in fellowship programs in Clinical Research with Master’s degree programs
- Contribute to Residency and student education leadership, ultrasound training, and simulation education
- Collaborate across a system committed to health equity, academic excellence, and community service
Requirements
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Experience in academic, community, or hybrid emergency medicine settings
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, academic engagement, and a mission-driven approach to emergency care
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Effective teaching and mentoring skills
- Strong research and publication skills
- Leadership in clinical and educational activities

Pay
Competitive base salary: $315,000-$330,000 Per Diem opportunities available at the rate of $300-350/hour (Subject to change).
