SF / PA CORP 2nd-5th Year Associate (Fintech / Blockchain / Cryptocurrency)

About the role

The ideal candidate will be a Corporate associate with a strong interest in and experience representing companies and investors in the digital asset/blockchain space, particularly with venture financings, corporate transactions, token offerings, and securities law matters as well as general corporate expertise.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in venture financings, corporate transactions, token offerings, and securities law matters related to digital assets and blockchain technology.
• Provide legal advice and counsel on regulatory compliance issues related to digital assets and blockchain technology.
• Assist in the structuring and negotiation of complex corporate transactions involving digital assets and blockchain technology.
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategies for digital asset and blockchain-related businesses.
• Collaborate with other members of the team on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional projects involving digital assets and blockchain technology.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic credentials and law firm experience required.
• Experience in corporate transactions, securities law, and digital assets/blockchain preferred.
• Strong interest and background in the digital asset/blockchain space.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Passionate about working in the rapidly evolving field of digital assets and blockchain technology.

Skills

• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of securities laws and regulations.
• Experience with blockchain technology and digital assets.

Benefits

Paul Hastings offers a competitive compensation package including a salary wage range of a minimum of $235,000 and a maximum of $365,000 annually, which may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.

Pay

$235,000 - $365,000 annually
