2-Year Associate, Asset-Backed Finance

About the role

The Associate will be based in New York, NY and the role will entail evaluating & executing new investment opportunities, portfolio monitoring of existing investments, and designing investment solutions and structures for institutional investors. The Associate will serve as an integral part of the deal team and contribute meaningfully throughout the investment process, including due diligence, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, financial modeling and valuation, and drafting of materials and investment committee memos.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating & executing new investment opportunities
• Portfolio monitoring of existing investments
• Designing investment solutions and structures for institutional investors
• Serving as an integral part of the deal team
• Contributing meaningfully throughout the investment process, including due diligence, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, financial modeling and valuation, and drafting of materials and investment committee memos

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1 - 3 years of finance experience with exposure to asset finance, corporate credit and structured products
• Prior investment experience or financial institutions group (FIG) / structured credit / securitization / investment banking experience is preferred

Benefits/Compensation

The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000.
