About the role

Your role as a Sewer CCTV Operator – Crossbore involves operating closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection equipment and robotic systems to assess sewer collection systems. You will be responsible for capturing detailed video footage, generating accurate condition reports, and entering inspection data into a GIS database while ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy. As the crew lead, you will also oversee daily field operations, coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines and safety protocols are met, and support efforts to identify and prevent crossbore risks within sewer and stormwater infrastructure. This position reports directly to the Field Operations Manager and plays a critical role in the integrity and safety of underground utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV inspection equipment and robotic systems to assess sewer collection systems
• Capture detailed video footage and generate accurate condition reports
• Enter inspection data into a GIS database, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy
• Oversee daily field operations as crew lead
• Coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines and safety protocols are met
• Support efforts to identify and prevent crossbore risks within sewer and stormwater infrastructure

Requirements

• Compliance with Hydromax USA’s vaccination safety program due to potential exposure-related health risks
• Provide documentation of previously completed required vaccinations or complete them within the first 30 days of employment
• Required vaccinations: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, and TDAP/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis)

Work Environment

• Work along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas
• Follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards
• Work at sites with embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions
• Adapt to outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions, including high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures

Pay

$22.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
